The following pictures show celebrations for the promotion to Doctor rerum naturalis (equivalent to PhD). Doctor-trolleys are an old tradition in the Chemistry Department. They are designed to reflect a characteristic trait of the graduate and are moved by the rest of the Group in a procession through the center of Freiburg. Needless to say, these processions are always accompanied by considerable hilarity.

In 2000 the "Tour de France" came through Freiburg. The Group applauded in the countryside south of Freiburg.

The Group played every year for the Soccer Cup of the Chemistry Department (here 2002) and won it in 2004.
